Welcome to Rutgers Cinema!
Our mission is to keep you entertained, it’s that simple. Put those books down, stop by, relax and unwind. You deserve it!

We’re located in The Plaza at Livingston Campus at Rutgers University, across the street from the Livingston Student Center. Our address is 105 Joyce Kilmer Ave, Piscataway, NJ and we’re easily accessible via the university’s bus transportation system. You can’t get any more convenient than that.

About Rutgers
Rutgers Cinema is a state-of-the-art, three-screen cinema featuring digital projectors, stadium seating and surround sound. The Cinema will host first-run movies, film festivals, special events and much more.
Hours of Operation
Rutgers Cinema is open every day of the week, every day of the the year, including holidays! Whenever you are in the mood for a movie, it's showtime!
Movies generally start around 1 pm and run throught the 10 o clock hour, films could begin as early as 10 am and end as late as midnight for those special blockbusters, so keep an eye out on our main page! Check out our showtimes for the most up-to-date schedules.
Bus
Livingston Campus is served by the Rutgers University bus system and easily accessible from all the New Brunswick – Piscataway Campuses. For the most up-to-date bus schedules, please visit TransLoc.
Parking
Parking is available in Lot 112A for non-affiliate Rutgers Cinema visitors while at the cinema only. Students, Staff, and Faculty patrons are required to park according to their permit at all times.
Non-affiliate visitors can park for free in lot 112A, Monday through Friday 4pm – 2am. It is a subsection of about 75 spots behind the cinema in lot 112. The Cinema lot 112A can also be used on the weekend.
Visitors are also provided free parking on weekends, starting 5pm on Friday through 6am on Monday, in the Yellow and Green Lot. However, this does not include game day parking for the RAC. The full Rutgers Athletic schedule with listings for the RAC can be found here.
Visitors are also provided with weekday parking limited to 1 hour in the first row of the Green Lot and 30 minutes on-street parking on Rockafeller Rd and Joyce Kilmer Ave. To identify the first row of the Green Lot, look for the visitor parking sign behind Kilmer's Market.
Students, faculty and staff can park in their dedicated parking lots utilizing their existing permits.

Advertising packages are available; rates depend on the length of time you wish to advertise and the number of screens at the theater(s) you wish to advertise at.
